1. Service Description

Ori (“the Service”) is an AI chat assistant that can be added to direct messages and group chats. The Service provides conversational AI capabilities including shopping assistance, research, and general conversation.

2. Subscription Terms

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. You can cancel your subscription at any time, and cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial months.

We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Generate illegal, harmful, or abusive content
  • Harass, threaten, or impersonate others
  • Attempt to circumvent usage limits or security measures
  • Use the Service for spam or automated bulk messaging
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate responses. AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any information provided by the Service before relying on it.

5. Your Data & Privacy

We built Ori to help you, not to profit from your data. The principles below govern how we handle your information. For full detail, see our Privacy Policy.

We never sell your data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or your conversations to anyone, and we never will. We share data only with the service providers needed to operate Ori (such as payment processing, hosting, and the AI model providers that generate responses) and where required by law.

We can read your chats to improve Ori

To run and improve the Service, we may access, read, and review the conversations you have with Ori, and use them to operate, debug, and improve Ori (including improving the quality of its responses). We handle this access carefully and limit it to what is needed to run and improve the Service.

Email purchase history — only with your explicit permission

If, and only if, you give us your explicit permission, Ori will read your email to find your past purchases (for example, order receipts from retailers) and use them to learn your preferences and improve your shopping experience. This is entirely optional, access is read-only and limited to purchase receipts, and you can decline or revoke it at any time without affecting your use of the rest of the Service.

6. Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
